Auction

We went to an auction tonight. Never been to an auction so it was pretty exciting! We saw a dresser that we wanted a few days ago so we came back to bid on it and we got it! Under $100! We plan on converting it to a vanity/sink for our hall bath. Check it out!

My First Snowman

It's also Evan's first snowman too!!

Eric actually got the snowman started and made it a little big. We had a hard time getting the middle snowball (or boulder) in place. I think it came out pretty good. A little lumpy but I'm just thrilled that we have one in the yard!

Christmas Eve with Friends

We went to Skip and Jennifer's house for Christmas Eve. They are expecting their first baby in April. Super nice couple! It was a nice visit with yummy food! Evan had a great time running around and eating too. We had very good time.

After we got home, we got Evan ready for bed and then put some cookies out for Santa. I think Evan thought he was getting a cookie but I kept telling him that they are for Santa. He really didn't mind that he didn't get a cookie. He doesn't understand that Santa is coming but I thought it would still be fun to leave cookies anyway. Maybe it will sink in! I am looking forward to his reaction in the morning when he sees everything under the tree! I have to charge my cameras so I can get lots of pictures!!

Evan in the Box

New King Comforter

The new furniture that we got has a king size bed. Sometime in the future we will get a king mattress. I found this comforter that I like (plus it was a good deal) and it blends well with the red accent wall in our room. It's not the exact red but it's very hard to see a difference. I think it will be good!

My Lamps are Finished!

I think they turned out great. I was a little unsure of the color at first because the paint can says Dark Bronze but they look dark pewter. They look good with the black furniture. They definitely look much better!

Baseboard!

We now have baseboard in the office! Little bit of caulk and it will be ready to move in. Maybe some touch-up paint first and then we'll start the moving process! I can't wait!
