Enjoying the Shade

We just got back from our trip to Hattiesburg, MS. Eric's cousin got married earlier in the month and had a reception for family and friends on the 26th. Evan had a great time running around in the hotel and swimming with his new floaties. He was such a good boy.
During the reception, Evan stayed with a babysitter and a few other little boys. He did great and had lots of fun. Mommy and Daddy got to enjoy the reception without the little munchkin. That was nice and we had a great time!

Evan got a kick out of putting a blanket over his head and playing peek-a-boo. He is so silly.

Evan's Playset

Eric and I picked up this playset yesterday. Evan hasn't seen it yet and Grammie and I put it together during his nap. He's still sleeping! It will be a fun surprise when he wakes up! I will have more pictures!

Evan's Room

My mom came up to visit and while she was here we updated Evan's room to a little boy's room. We took down the circles and turtles and replaced them with trucks. I didn't want to get too crazy with a theme yet but I definitely wanted the baby look gone. I think we accomplished that and it came out great! My mom put together some curtains and we finally hung his growth chart. It's basically a blue and green room. All I need now is a new rug and it will be complete. I think Evan really likes his room! Here are a couple pictures.

Evan's Exit Sign

Over the weekend, we picked up an Exit sign from Home Depot for Evan. He is still very fascinated with them and gets really excited when we go into stores. Now he can get excited when we come in the front door!
