We recently took a trip to SC to visit friends. We went there a little over a year ago so it was time to go back. It was a much needed vacation and Evan had fun playing with his buddy Nicky. Here are some pictures from the trip.

I had already fed the dogs this morning but I guess Evan felt like he still needed to help. After he put some food in the bowl, he put it back one at a time. At least he didn't fill up the bowl! What a big helper!!

Moving the Tree

Today Eric and our friend Luke moved the big tree that was in front of our porch. It was getting too big, and it covered up one of the columns. We have been wanting to relocate it for quite some time and finally got to it today. It was a beast! We are hoping that it will survive in it's new home on the other side of our driveway. It looks much better there (and bigger too)! We are going to do some landscaping soon around the front of the house and we're going to do it ourselves. That should be interesting. It definitely needs some attention. I will get pictures of our progress. I'm really looking forward to landscaping!
